The Role We’re seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Operator to join our client’s team in Townsville. You’ll operate a variety of heavy machinery and assist with general site tasks to support construction and earthmoving projects.

Pay & Benefits
- $45 per hour (base rate)
- $63 per hour (time and a half)
- $81 per hour (double time)
- $15 daily travel allowance
Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, telehandlers, skid steers and front-end loaders
- Trim dams, load trucks, cut swale drains, fix haul roads and move gear around site
- Assist with labouring tasks when required
- Perform pre-starts and basic maintenance
- Work closely with supervisors and crew
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience on heavy machinery
- Current tickets (obtained within last 3 years):
- Excavator
- Telehandler
- Skid Steer
- Front-End Loader
- HR licence (essential)
- Must pass Drug & Alcohol test
- Australian citizen
- VOCs highly regarded
- Experience in dam works and wet conditions a plus
