S26 Electrical Supervisor – Solar & Battery Installation (BHP Jimblebar)

Scope of Work
Working alongside experienced electricians already on-site, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and assisting with the electrical installation and commissioning works, including:
- Build and installation of solar arrays
- Cabling and terminations including MC4 connectors and marshalling terminal boxes
- Installation and termination of surge protection devices and associated enclosures
- Cable installation between shelters via cable ladder and underground conduits
- Installation of batteries into associated racks
- Testing and commissioning to BHP standards
- Completion of ITR documentation using CCMS systems
Mandatory Tickets & Licences
Applicants must hold:
- Full S26 Qualifications and DMIR Exam Passed
- WA Electrical Licence
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
- Must be BHP mobilisation ready (inductions, medicals, etc.)
Desired Experience
Highly regarded experience includes:
- Solar installations, battery systems, and DC electrical systems (including testing)
- Electrical construction works on mine sites
- Cable installation in conduits and cable ladder systems
- Earthing systems and terminations
- Panel terminations
- Electrical labelling from drawings and schematics
- Completing ITRs and QA documentation
