New Business Manager
Perth | $160,000 – $180,000 + Car Package
We are partnering with a well-established commercial construction specialist to appoint a New Business Manager who will play a key role in driving the company’s next phase of growth.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially astute professional with strong industry relationships and a proven track record of securing major projects across the WA commercial construction market.
You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing the bid and tender process and building strong relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, architects and key stakeholders.
The Opportunity
This role sits within the senior leadership team and will focus on:
- Identifying and securing new project opportunities across commercial façade, roofing and related construction markets
- Building and maintaining relationships with Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors, architects and developers
- Managing the full tender lifecycle from opportunity qualification through to contract award
- Leading and mentoring the estimating and new business team
- Driving pipeline development, forecasting and strategic market growth
- Collaborating with project and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery following project award
About You
To be successful in this role you will likely bring:
- 7+ years’ experience in business development within commercial construction
- Demonstrated success winning large-scale commercial projects or Tier 1 contracts
- Strong understanding of construction procurement, contracts and risk management
- A well-developed industry network across WA
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- A strategic mindset with the ability to drive sustainable growth
A background in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying or business would be advantageous.
