E&I Technician

Job Title: E&I Technicians – Shutdown Project (Onshore, Victoria)
Location: Onshore, Victoria
Duration: 6-Day Shutdown
Dates: 19th April – 26th April

We are currently seeking experienced E&I Technicians to support an upcoming onshore shutdown project in Victoria.

This is a short-term shutdown opportunity suited to professionals with a strong oil and gas background who are available for the full 6-day scope.

This role would particularly suit candidates who are between RnR rotations and looking to pick up shutdown work.

Local candidates are encouraged to apply, however professionals from interstate are also welcome and will be considered on a FIFO basis for the duration of the shutdown.

Scope of Work
The successful candidates will be involved in a range of electrical and instrumentation activities including:

  • Instrument installation and calibration
  • Maintenance and operational support
  • Isolation and commissioning
  • Supporting shutdown execution while maintaining strong safety standards

Requirements

  • Proven oil & gas industry experience
  • Electrical background preferred
  • Instrumentation-only candidates are encouraged to apply
  • MUST hold EEHA Certification – Certified in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) with experience working in hazardous environments
  • Previous shutdown experience highly regarded
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced shutdown environment

Pay Rates

Day Shift

  • Flat Rate: $73.00 per hour
  • Time & Half: $109.50 per hour
  • Double Time: $146.00 per hour

Night Shift

  • Flat Rate: $86.69 per hour
  • Time & Half: $130.04 per hour
  • Double Time: $173.88 per hour
