Project Engineer | FIFO 2:1 Roster
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team on a FIFO basis, supporting the delivery of a major civil project. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven engineering professional with strong earthworks and drainage experience to make an immediate impact.
The Role
Working as part of a high-performing project team, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of civil works, ensuring project objectives are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage and coordinate civil construction activities on site
– Oversee bulk and detailed earthworks packages
– Coordinate drainage construction works and subcontractors
– Prepare and review project documentation, including ITPs, SWMS and work packs
– Monitor project progress, costs and productivity
– Liaise with site teams, clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
– Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and safety requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
– Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
– Previous experience working as a Project Engineer within civil construction projects
– Strong experience delivering bulk and detailed earthworks packages
– Proven drainage construction experience
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
– Strong understanding of project controls, quality and safety processes
– Ability to commence ASAP
