Crushing Operator

Roster: 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth Airport 
Rate: $55 – 58 p/hour 

Our client is seeking an experienced Crushing Operator to join their operations on a long-term FIFO basis. This is a hands-on role and not limited to machine operation. Operators must be willing and able to work both in the cab and on the ground, supporting crushing operations and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and control mobile crushing equipment safely and efficiently
• Actively participate in ground-based duties, including maintaining and operating the crusher
• Conduct routine servicing and assist with maintenance of crushing plant machinery
• Assist mechanical fitters during planned and unplanned maintenance activities
• Monitor crushers, screens, and conveyor systems to ensure continuous operation
• Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and maintaining the crushing area and yard
• Work collaboratively with the site team to achieve production targets
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance at all times

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience operating mobile crushing equipment
• Strong understanding of jaw crushers, cone crushers, and conveyor systems
• Previous experience in hands-on crushing plant maintenance highly regarded
• Experience with equipment brands such as Terex, Metso, Striker, or McCloskey advantageous
• Ability to operate ancillary equipment (e.g. Cat 980 or WA600 loaders) beneficial
• Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
• Willingness to work outside the machine and perform physical duties as required
