Expression of Interest – Mobile Plant / Machine Operators | WA Mining

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Mobile Plant and Machine Operators for upcoming opportunities across a range of mine sites throughout Western Australia.

We work with a variety of clients across the WA resources sector, with opportunities potentially available across BHP, Rio Tinto and Fortescue (FMG) sites, as well as other mining operations.

Operators we’re interested in hearing from
Experience operating one or more of the following is highly regarded:

  • Loaders
  • Graders
  • Dozers
  • Excavators
  • Other mobile plant / heavy mining equipment

The opportunities
These are Expression of Interest positions, with multiple projects and vacancies expected to become available.

  • FIFO opportunities across Western Australia
  • Various mine sites and clients
  • Rosters will vary depending on the role and project
  • Rates will vary based on experience, roster, site and client
  • Short and longer-term opportunities may be available

What we’re looking for
Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience operating mobile plant in a mining or similar environment
  • Relevant competencies/tickets for the equipment you operate
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to pass relevant pre-employment and site requirements
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • HR driver’s licence – advantageous
  • Existing BHP, Rio Tinto and/or Fortescue site inductions – advantageous, but not essential for all opportunities

Eligibility Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are strongly encouraged to apply.

Depending on the client and project, we may also have opportunities available for candidates currently in Australia on eligible visas, including Working Holiday Visa holders.

Visa suitability will be assessed on a role-by-role basis according to individual client and site requirements.
