Salary: $45–$50 per hour + company vehicle + laptop
Hours: 38 hours per week 
Locations: Gold Coast, Brisbane South/North, Sunshine Coast, Far North Queensland (FNQ)
Requirements: Police Check, Medical Check, Valid Driver’s Licence
Travel: Some travel required

About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to manage field contractors and support the delivery of complex remediation work across the NBN network. Spanning multiple Queensland regions, this role requires strong leadership, technical expertise and the ability to ensure safe, compliant and high-quality field operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage field contractors performing NBN remediation work.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with NBN standards and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate daily field activities, resolve onsite issues and provide technical guidance as needed.
  • Undertake and support complex remediation tasks, including escalated or specialised field work.
  • Monitor contractor performance, productivity, safety adherence and work quality.
  • Ensure all field activities meet contractual, operational and safety obligations.
  • Complete reporting, documentation and system updates using laptop and internal digital tools.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Travel to various job sites across Queensland regions as required.

Key Role Responsibilities: Crew Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead field crews to deliver safe and efficient electrical and telecommunications infrastructure works.
  • Plan, supervise, prioritise and manage the completion of both routine and non-routine high-risk maintenance and/or construction activities.
  • Ensure all work requests, compliance requirements, quality expectations and safety standards are met by all tradespersons and field staff.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience supervising field teams or subcontractors in NBN, telecommunications, utilities or civil infrastructure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of NBN standards, processes and enabled skills/qualifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and support complex remediation work.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence (mandatory).
  • Ability to pass a Police Check and Medical Assessment.
  • Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions onsite.
  • Proficiency with laptops, reporting tools and digital systems.
  • Willingness to travel across designated regions as required.
