MAINTENANCE FITTER Leading Poultry Processing Facility – Osborne Park, Perth (Recruitment managed by OSOS Alliance)

An outstanding opportunity exists for a qualified Maintenance Fitter to join our client’s state-of-the-art poultry processing facility in Osborne Park.
About the Role: The primary responsibility is to install, maintain and repair all equipment throughout the site, ensuring optimal performance of machinery and equipment. You’ll work directly with maintenance teams, electricians, and production staff while reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
Critical Skills Required:
- Experience in dismantling, repairing, fitting and assembling engineering components
- Ability to perform levelling and alignment of machines and equipment
- Welding skills (gas tungsten, arc welding, and oxy welding)
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic system maintenance
- Capability to interpret technical specifications and manuals
Essential Qualifications:
- Trade certificate as a Maintenance Fitter
- Ability to perform duties across multiple classifications:
- Engineering/Production Employee Level III (C12 Maintenance)
- Engineering Tradesperson – Level 1 (C10 Maintenance)
- Engineering Tradesperson Special Class – Level I (C8 Maintenance)
- Engineering Tradesperson Special Class – Level II (C7 Maintenance)
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of refrigeration maintenance
- Understanding of poultry mechanical and electrical systems
- Familiarity with quarantine standards
- Licenses for elevated work platforms and forklifts
Key Responsibilities:

- Install new machinery
