Store Person – Walkie Stacker Experience
Karrakatta, WA | Monday–Friday | $35/hr + Super | Ongoing Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our client’s multi-skilled warehouse team based in Karrakatta, WA.
This is an ongoing position offering consistent Monday-to-Friday hours. The role involves receiving and dispatching stock, pick packing, stock control and general stores duties.
Previous Walkie Stacker training and hands-on operating experience is mandatory for this position.
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Receiving and checking incoming stock
- Picking and packing customer and internal orders
- Preparing stock for dispatch
- Operating a Walkie Stacker
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Stock placement and bin transfers
- Stocktaking and item spot checks
- Maintaining accurate stock movement records
- Inspecting and labelling incoming goods
- Manual handling of goods and materials
- Operating general stores machinery and equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment
- Completing relevant stores documentation
- Supporting the wider team with general warehousing duties
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you must have:
- Previous Walkie Stacker operating experience
- Evidence of Walkie Stacker training
- Previous warehousing/storeperson experience
- Experience with receiving, dispatching, stocktaking and/or pick packing
- Good attention to detail
- A proactive, reliable and hands-on attitude
- Ability to work effectively within a small team
- Ability to undertake manual handling duties
- A current or obtainable Police Clearance
- Australian Citizenship
Forklift experience/licensing will also be advantageous.
