About the Project:
OSOS Alliance and our client welcome you to one of the most significant infrastructure upgrades in the country — the Inter-Capital Fibre (ICF) project. This national fibre optic rollout will connect capital cities to remote communities with ultra-fast, high-capacity cable. It’s a once-in-a-generation opportunity to be part of something that will shape Australia’s digital future.

Role 1: Trades Assistant (TA)

  • Potholing, locating services, and basic site works

This role is ideal for individuals looking to work hard, learn on the go, and support a fast-paced civil project with national impact.

Role 2: Machine Operator – Excavator (Experienced Only) This is not a trainee position. We’re after experienced operators who know their way around tight digs, live services, and safety-critical environments. If that’s you, read on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Excavator operation for trenching and fibre cable installation
  • Potholing and service identification
  • Operating in close proximity to live assets and underground infrastructure
  • Coordinating with ground crews and site supervisors
  • Routine equipment checks and maintenance

What is Provided for Both Roles:

  • Accommodation during rostered work periods (if not local)
