Expression of Interest – Mechanical Fitters | QLD & NSW Shutdowns

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Mechanical Fitters Australia-wide for upcoming shutdown/project work across Queensland and New South Wales.

Applications are welcome from suitably qualified Mechanical Fitters across all Australian states and territories, with interstate candidates encouraged to apply.

Multiple positions are expected to become available across two major sites, with opportunities for experienced Mechanical Fitters as well as Fitters with strong valve maintenance/overhaul experience.

Upcoming Opportunities

Kogan Creek – Chinchilla, QLD

• Approximately 10 x Mechanical Fitters required
• Approx. 4 weeks of work
• Flights and camp accommodation provided
• Open to suitable candidates Australia-wide
• Shutdown/project-based work
• Further mobilisation and roster details to be confirmed

Bayswater – NSW

• Approximately 10 x Mechanical Fitters required
• Including approximately 5 x Fitters with valve experience
• Applications welcomed from all states and territories
• Project dates, roster and mobilisation arrangements to be confirmed

We’re Looking For
Ideally, applicants will have:

• Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
• Previous shutdown, maintenance or major industrial project experience
• Experience within power generation, heavy industry, mining, oil & gas or similar environments
• Strong mechanical maintenance, installation and fault-finding skills
• Valve maintenance, overhaul or repair experience highly regarded for selected positions
• Current relevant licences/tickets
• Ability to pass site-specific medical and mobilisation requirements
• Strong commitment to safety
• Ability to work effectively within a shutdown/project environment
