HSE Advisor | Goldfields, WA | Wind Farm Project | $80/hr + Super
Are you an experienced HSE Advisor looking for your next FIFO opportunity in Western Australia?
Our client is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join their team on a short-term contract supporting the final stages of a major wind farm project in the Goldfields, WA.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established renewable energy project during the commissioning and close-out phase, working alongside an experienced team to ensure the project is completed safely and successfully.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Management team, you will play a key role in supporting site safety, maintaining compliance and assisting with the completion and close-out of project activities during the commissioning phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HSE support across the project.
- Conduct site inspections and safety observations.
- Facilitate toolbox talks and pre-start meetings.
- Assist with incident reporting and investigations where required.
- Ensure compliance with client and legislative HSE requirements.
- Support risk assessments, JHAs and SWMS reviews.
- Maintain HSE documentation and reporting.
- Work closely with supervisors and subcontractors to drive a positive safety culture.
- Assist with project completion and close-out activities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as an HSE Advisor on mining, construction or major infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on commissioning or project close-out phases is highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and safety management systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to work autonomously and confidently in a fast-paced project environment.
- A proactive approach with a genuine commitment to workplace safety.
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Construction White Card
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Current First Aid (desirable)
